Honestly, hands down, such an incredible tan! 🤎
I am an avid Loving Tan girly, but the one thing that always got me was the price. So when I discovered Kiki and Klo, I was super excited to finally find a tan that incorporates skincare!
First of all, this tan dries SUPER quickly. I personally love sleeping in my tan overnight to let my skin marinate, and this one did not disappoint. The guide colour was absolutely gorgeous and didn't leave my skin looking ashy or green, which is a massive win!
I went with the Ultra Dark shade, and I'm so glad I did because I honestly think anything lighter would have been too light for my preference.
One thing I will mention is that because the formula dries so quickly, you really need to work fast when applying it. I found that going back to touch up certain areas was a little tricky, as the product didn't blend as easily once it had started drying. I unfortunately washed it off the next day and you could see where I tried to blend my back to my sides as I typically leave my back last to tan.
After rinsing off the guide colour, I was still left with a beautiful, natural-looking tan. However, I will admit that I am pretty hard on my fake tan! I do Hot Sculpt twice a week, which means plenty of heat and sweating, and I absolutely refuse to be as white as Casper. 😂
For me, the tan lasted approximately 7 days before it started developing that scaly, patchy appearance. I did try to combat this with a body oil and moisturiser throughout the week. Although, I genuinely think the longevity would have been different if I wasn't doing Hot Sculpt twice a week.
Overall, I think this is a fantastic tan, especially considering the skincare benefits incorporated into the formula. The application, guide colour and final result were all impressive.
My one wish? PLEASE bring out an Ultra Ultra Dark shade! I would absolutely love to achieve something closer to that gorgeous guide colour even after washing it off.
Definitely a tan I'll be reaching for again! 🤎
