About Kiki and Klo

I'm Nadine; a gal who has been fake tanning since the days when green based orange looking tan was the only product on the market, and walking around with a strong scent of chemicals mixed with synthetic coconut was the absolute go.

I am in the community of girlies who spend their Wednesday night scrubbing their body and shaving head to toe, to then spend Thursday night basting themselves in two coats of the darkest tan out there and marinating for 8-10 hours. The girls who would rather look like a walking tiger bread than look pale. The girls who would prioritise tanning night over date night. The girls whose mattresses probably look like something out of a murder scene - I have been on every fake tan trend since Le Tan. So when I say I know ball when it comes to tanning, trust me - I know ball.

I decided to create a tan that was different to anything on the market. A tan with a mixed base, suitable for every skin tone. No more green hues, orange fingers or looking sunburnt red - Kiki and Klo will adapt to your undertone with our ToneMatch technology. 

Not only did I want a tan that was suitable for everyone, but I wanted one that was kind to your skin. Sure, we all know the main ingredient in fake tan, DHA (dihydoxyacetone if you're fancy) is super drying on the skin - but did you know a lot of companies use a factory made DHA?! Ours is organically sourced meaning it is way more gentle on your beautiful skin. 

I have also infused our tanning foam with skincare so it nourishes your skin whilst bronzing it, meaning your skin is looking good from the inside and out. Here is a list of what I've packed inside so you can see how good it is:

• Witch Hazel Extract - A natural astringent that works as an antiflammatory on the skin. Soothing any irritation, reducing inflammation and shrinking the appearance of pores. Perfect for those who find shaving irritates the skin on their legs and gives the appearance of strawberries (trust me we've been her)
• Aloe Vera - Providing moisture and hydration to the skin whilst soothing any inflammation. No drying ingredients here - goodbye tiger bread!
• Strawberry Seed Oil - A deeply moisturising natural oil that protects the skins natural barrier and locks in hydration. Think about how fresh and plump your skin is going to look!
• Vitamin C - or Ascorbic Acid if we're being technical. Brightens and evens out dull skin tone giving your skin an extra added glow.
• Argon Oil - another amazing natural ingredient that hydrates the skin, improving its natural barrier, locking in moisture. Contains Vitamin E which also works as an anti-inflammatory - a real all rounder in the body skincare routine if you ask us.
• Rose Hip Oil - Another natural oil that will hydrate your skin but also contains Vitamin A, helping to aid in anti-ageing, reducing the appearance of wrinkles and dark spots. 
• Cucumber Fruit Extract - Used to hydrate, soothe and moisturise the skin. Oh also, did we mention it's cucumber scented? No more lingering chemical coconut fake tan smell you waft through the halls; instead a light fresh smell.
